Knightsbridge offers FREE SHIPPING for its banquette and booth seating, for orders over $1000*. It is sent flat packed ready for assembling. We provide this service to all major areas, Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Hobart, Melbourne and Sydney.


We build our furniture with only quality materials and have many guarantees in place. Our Dunlop Enduro foam has a 15 year guarantee, our banquette and booth seats have a structural guarantee on the framework for 10 years. Black Cat webbing is used that also has a 10 year warranty. Fabrics and leathers have individual warranty cover, information available upon request.

Bariatric Furniture


How wide are bariatric chairs?
We manufacture bariatric chairs in varying widths from 600mm wide – 720mm wide.


Do I need to have bariatric furniture in my waiting room?

It is becoming increasingly common  to have bariatric furniture in waiting rooms and practices, and is recommended in Australia, as we have the fastest climbing obesity rate.


Can I have bariatric furniture that blends in with my other furniture?

The answer is yes! Knightsbridge Furniture manufactures a range of normal waiting room chairs that have matching bariatric chairs. You can have all your chairs matching so your room is bariatric friendly without being obvious, your clients will love your waiting room as they won’t feel singled out.


What weight rating does my bariatric furniture need to have?

Most bariatric chairs with a width of 600-700mm wide have a weight rating of 250kgs, however we have chairs with weight ratings of 300kgs and we can also custom manufacture chairs with ratings up to 400kgs.


What fabric can I have on my bariatric chairs?

Knightsbridge recommends a commercial grade vinyl or fabric for your chairs we have many ranges available, one of the most common fabrics used is the Crypton range which is a waterproof wipeable fabric.
